“ We did the typical Hidalgo St restaurant walk and decided upon Xantolo for its fried whole fish. Immediately upon seating, we noticed the ceiling fans which were a bonus. Other meals ordered were Barbacoa and Carnitas. The fish and meats were all flavorful with corn tortillas, rice and condiments included. The guacamole appetizer was fresh and satisfying. Great customer service from everyone particularly Alejandro, enjoyable live music, and guests of Ixchel get a 10% discount. We ended up eating there twice while on the island. ”

Everything was excellent... queso fundido (cheese fondu on their menu) mango margaritas.... Shrimp, Arrachera.... Every was excellent as well as the service. Will be back more than once on our next stays on Isla. ”
